After years of research and development, working directly with schools and teachers across the county, the Educator Violin not only meets instructor setup specifications but also adds outstanding durability for today’s busy student.
The Educator Violin uses select spruce and maple that have been aged 3 to 5 years. This results in better wood density and a richer sound over non-aged wood.
They feature a French maple bridge, cut and fitted in our US shop. Ebony fingerboards and pegs round out the select tonewoods for these quality instruments. We top off the Educator with a Glasser tailpiece and convenient built-in fine tuners at the bridge.
The Educator is also equipped with D’Addario Prelude strings — the top choice of music educators across the county.
We’ve included a top-quality Glasser Fiberglass Horsehair bow, the #1 requested bow by schools due to its durability and balance. A tough and durable thermoplastic case protects the instrument from those bumps and bangs that everyday school instruments must endure.
For these reasons and more, teachers across the country have made the Educator violin one of the best values for both schools and students.
